This conference is hosted by 8(A), a non-profit assistance program sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Association (SBA). The 8(A) program was created to help small and disadvantaged businesses gain equal access to economic growth opportunities.

Their main initiative is this widely attended conference, which is known for matching government agencies with small businesses. Along with being a prime networking event, the conference includes contracting workshops and a variety of educational seminars.

The National 8(a) Small Business Conference is the premier supplier diversity networking event for small businesses.

The Conference offers educational sessions and resources for small businesses, minority businesses, current 8(a) companies, and graduated 8(a) companies as well as supplier diversity matchmaking with federal agencies, large business primes, and commercial companies and multiple networking opportunities to meet federal agencies, buyers, and prospective teaming partners.

WHAT IS 8(A)?
The Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Business Development Program is a business assistance program for small disadvantaged businesses. The 8(a) Program offers a broad scope of assistance to firms that are owned and controlled at least 51% by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals.

The National 8(a) Association is a non-profit who’s mission is to provide education and guidance for all aspiring, current and graduate 8(a) businesses. We are also proud to work with HUBZone, SDVOB, SDB, WOSB, DBE, 8(a) Joint Venture, Federal Agencies, Prime Contractors, Industry Professionals, and Business Vendors.
